Looking Ahead to Catholic Schools Week

One of the most important weeks for Catholic schools nationwide is coming up soon. We’re talking about Catholic Schools Week, of course! At the end of January, every Catholic school in the country celebrates the aspects of Catholic education that make it truly unique. In 2022, Catholic Schools Week is celebrated from January 30 - February 5. These schools foster faith, academic excellence, and community service. Students, teachers, staff and families come together for special celebrations. Here’s a summary of what we’ve done previously and what you can expect to see at this year’s event:

Previous Years

Every year, Catholic Schools Week takes a slightly different form. Due to the pandemic, the 2020 and 2021 events looked quite different from years past. Tours were virtual, and activities had limited capacity. That doesn’t stop our students from making the most of this celebration. Last year, Fr. Luis joined children at St. Anthony Catholic School for recess. Our schools also hosted student appreciation events, dress up and dress down days, and more to promote community among our students.

Looking Ahead

At this year’s event, we will be celebrating faith, excellence and service at all of our Catholic schools. Student appreciation, teacher appreciation and family appreciation events will be taking place. Members of the community are welcome to come to our schools to celebrate with us, especially those who are interested in Catholic education. We hope to bring more people into our community while showing our appreciation to current families.

Celebrating Catholic Schools Week

Catholic Schools Week is one of the biggest events of the year at every Catholic school. This week-long celebration allows incoming students and their families to learn about everything Catholic school has to offer. Current students and families have the opportunity to bask in what they’ve accomplished and what they can look forward to in the future.

Our Polk Catholic schools foster an atmosphere of care and an environment of high expectations and effective discipline. We allow students to explore their faith at school and encourage them to do the same at home. To learn more about what makes us different, contact us online
