At Santa Fe Catholic High School, one of our Polk County Catholic schools, we work to develop each student through college preparatory studies and values grounded in the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Founded in 1961, Santa Fe Catholic High School was the first Catholic high school established in Polk County. Located between Lakeland and Winter Haven, Santa Fe Catholic serves all of Polk County and its surrounding areas. Families of all faiths find that we have built a solid foundation of religious education and values, as well as an outstanding academic program where students can thrive.

We embrace an educational plan that prepares students from all walks of life for the world they will one day lead. Our students help others through service to God and their communities. By providing an atmosphere of mutual trust and respect, we help guide students, as our motto says: “To Faith Through Knowledge.”

Academics

We offer a variety of learning options through five different college preparatory programs. We work with our students to find out which one is the best fit. Catholic school students perform above average on standardized tests, and over 98% of our students move on to higher education. Most importantly, all of our students graduate with a values-based foundation of respect and responsibility.

Extracurricular Activities

An important part of high school is finding the best place to fit in. With a variety of after school activities, from drama and maker clubs to academic teams and peer ministries, students can learn to express themselves in and outside of the classroom. Through programs we offer, our students have the opportunity to become well-rounded adults.

Athletics

The athletic coaches at Santa Fe Catholic School aim to produce champions at sports and in life. Our academic programs train the mind, and athletics help students grow in body and spirit. We offer a variety of athletic programs, from basketball and football to cheerleading and cross country. Through these programs, students learn new skills like teamwork, sportsmanship and perseverance. Our athletic students learn from their losses and reap the rewards of success.

The top private schools in Polk County foster an atmosphere of care and an environment of high expectations and effective discipline. To learn more about what makes us different, contact us here.
